Idk, maybe you know... Just an idea but how abou VISIT YOUR SON!!!
@Screenwatch @GrimmycoffeeIt’s also possible that the Spirits would just desert the fight if two elves try to kill each other. I don’t believe we’ve ever seen conflict between Spirit Magic Users, but the Spirits do have a character to them, even if one inhuman. I believe it’s entirely possible that the Spirits would see that One Elf asks for one thing, & then immediately the Other Elf asks for the opposite, & resolve that trying to fulfill their wishes at all is too tedious, & just leave them be until it’s over.
I was going to say, it's nice to get a reminder of just how OP he is when it comes to magic and spirits.been a while since we've seen his slightly vindictive side
IIRC, part of the reason he has been avoiding doing that is because as a half elf his son still ages faster than Æsir and he's trying to avoid the regret and other difficult feelings that might hinder the both of them.Idk, maybe you know... Just an idea but how abou VISIT YOUR SON!!!
Actually stupid how this was presented, both this fight and the hypothetical against the trio. He didn't even think about using his human style magic, which was instrumental in defeating the vampire way back when, or switching back to archery. Sure he wasn't about to outfence either of the two scenarios, but he still had other potent options.Scenes like turning an entire cathedral into sand and making it a sculptor reminds you that he is an immortal demi-god. while he says he would lose to the trio, he just has to ask the spirits for OP hax and stomp them. Also that suit of armor looks so nice. Definitly gonna become an heirloom.
I mean, it's actually straight up common for him to be less adept than true masters in melee at this point. Both heads of his school, the vampire and hermits, and now this guy. But as I mentioned above, Aesir so quickly deciding he was cooked without spirit magic was stupid. Is this one of the rare times he was overpowered close combat-wise?
Thanks for updating!
Leaving the assassin alive and incapacitated in the hands of one of the count's spies to beIt’s little bit of a shame MC didn’t kill the assassin, but yeah, I’m satisfied seeing the cathedral get destroyed by MC using the titan stone

thank you for translation
Was rereading the arc and I think it would be for the same reason as chapter 46 pg 16: "If I'd borrowed your power, I would've ended it in a snap.." "..an enemy I rightly shouldn't kill is more trouble than they're worth.."Thanks for the chapter.
Can't you just do that wind spirit move from the start rather than risk a close fight?
