Leather tends to be rather resistant to water by default.

Aww, poor drill hair girl. She got left out. Well, at first, anyway.

Hopefully the slimes aren't sentient because that would be a torturous existence. Being trapped, unable to move and being used as an object.
Yeah, they're kind of being treated like plants or something. I wonder how alive they are, whether they need to food, and whether they decay.

it feels weird keeping something alive, and potentially dangerous, as a house hold object. Can they not preserve the properties of the slime after they kill it?
They did mention it's harmless to humans.

A living plant pillow does sound kind of cool. Like a mushroom cap pillow a druid may use. I was more so mentally categorizing slimes as monsters with some sort of intelligence, but if the slime is just as intelligent and resilient as a plant and it doesn't hurt the slime, I am actually now all for the pillows.
Slimes can eat rocks, imagine a pillow you could safely and hygienically feed your trash into. Perfect!

The innovations of dude reincarnated in another world, looking to maximize his comfortable/easy-going daily life and expand the many things and such from foods, ideas, items, etc. to said world at the same time

This time, the use of slime as a comfy ass pillow (for summer, maybe)

Those dudes gonna fall for it as well just like mc/Alfred, Tri the merchant, Alysha and Ilya (even though Ilya didn't get to try it out yet)

They are slow moving and non-aggressive, but I don't think anyone has ever harassed one for an extended time. Even a cornered rat would bite a cat. The merchant was even worried about safety, citing if one were to get out while he slept.

Imagine a pillow that leaves it's pillow case to smother you while you sleep.
