It looks like a motorcycle and they don't have a 'park' gear, when stopped they're supposed to be put into neutral. 1N2345 is typical gearing, if engine braking to stop at a sign it's normal to shift into first and use the clutch for a few seconds of no power, before moving on again in first. Happens to newbies, they slow down in first, use the clutch, then get off the bike which drives off without them.

Manual and automatic transmission works different so the way it parks do differs.

This is pretty much the gist of it for motorcycles. For cars, manual transmission with H-pattern shifter do not have parking gear, so leaving it in Neutral with handbrake engaged is the way, on Automatic transmission you can only turn off your car when at Parking shift.
