i think brush pens are hella cool, however i cant fucking find any in my area so i dont know how much they cost either hdsjmk,l;

the way [traditional] art looks when coloured with them is really nice to me , but i just probably wont be able to do that asdhjnkml

Try to buy it online maybe you can find a cheaper one just to try it out first, I use brush pens almost for anything, drawing sketch on paper, writing, especially for making a b'day card for my closest friends. It's cheaper but they love it cuz it's handmade, they just appreciate the effort 🤭🤭

Good otakus use thick brushes (and also not so thick) plus Chinese ink to do shodou and of course to write 明けましておめでとうございます。(Happy New Year). You can get both cheaply too, I prefer the ink from a bar (like it were soap) and get the density and intensity I want from it. I also recommend practicing kiri-e, it's both helpful to be an artist and become a good surgeon.

I've done this in my middle school era and wow... Got yelled by my mom bcs the ink can't just washed away from my white uniform. She thought I'm having a fight with my friends 🤣🤣

I never wore an uniform and the most I got dirty with ink was my fingers (which also takes several washes to disappear), but I was always aware what to wear for craftings... and specially what not to.

And, if talking about other colour inks, it maybe washable, but I don't know how the black one is always the very bold and hard to wash. Somehow it frustrated me Sensei.

Depending on the stains, it may be better to dye your uniform black instead of washing it off...

I never did calligraphy as a hobby, but I have a number of fountain pens (mostly older Sheaffers, made a few hours away) and sometimes wind up with inky fingers. A bit of diluted ammonia seems to be about the best thing I've found to pull most of the inks I use back off of skin. Getting it out of clothes is a bit trickier. The black ink I use is specifically intended to be ultra-permanent, so I try very hard not to spill that.
