Isn't that hitogami in hahari's dream making her do things?

(and when we compare some of hahari's tendencies with some of rudeus... It makes total sense)

My favorite part of the chapter is watching each newly recognized banchou go briefly power-mad.

also is there some kind of joke lost in translation with the shizuka/assasin?
No, it's in reference to Shizuka counting herself as "the 44th assassin" on the third page of chapter 6.

i mean the "jjk reference" is just a reference to the buddha or something isn't it 😂
Yes, meant more in the sense of "is JJK why the Buddha quote is being referenced here, maybe or maybe not, but we were intentionally translating it here in a way that English readers these days would recognize from JJK" but I didn't bother to go into details.

Tenjou Tenge certainly not JJK reference, It's a phrase that means "everything in this world" and used often in school gang stories that include banchou urabanchou dll. And if you want to say its a reference at least say it a "Tenjou tenge" manga reference its literally in the title

Hahari new power unlocked? Or maybe she's just delusional. She's probably just delusional.

Kishika is NOT who I expected to be the sort of person to drop honorifics when someone clearly wants them, lol. I guess her chivalry doesn't say anything about bugging people with how you address them.

I thought Hahari was 28. When was her anniversary again?
People keep forgetting that even when pregnant at the age of 13, with a child that is now 15, you're not necessarily 13+15=28. There's like, the majority of an entire year right in between there!

To get all nerdy over it, consider that Hakari was born in June. Hahari's birthday is in May. From which follows that Hahari was 13 in September the previous year, aged up in May, and then gave birth at the age of 14.

What's more interesting here is that she hasn't had her 30th birthday yet. Which means this takes place before the 12th of May.
But we know that this year's mother's day already passed, which can be no sooner than the 8th of May.

Which means
a) the entirety of the last thirty chapters took place over a handful of days or
b) the timeline is nonsense and the dates don't matter.

One of these options is way funnier and therefore my headcanon.

The reason why I thought she was 28 is because it was literally stated, I didn’t do any gymnastics. But thanks for the answer regardless, appreciate you.

Sorry for the late chapter, I managed to get an ear infection. Thanks to Sobri for the assistance so we could get this out this week.
Man I fucking hate those. Made swallowing difficult for months and then your eardrums pop.

Saki is such a goober. But I love it. MVP is divine intervention having Hahari put them all in those uniforms!

Let me pose Option C to you:

"How on earth do you divide your time between 29 girls?!"

Rentarou: "I make time."

"Even so, there are 29--"

Rentarou: "You're not understanding me. I make time. I manufacture extra dimensions, and then lovingly stretch them into extra spacetime just so that I can spend that extra time with ALL my girlfriends.

"But... wow. Seriously?!"

Rentarou: "Nothing is too good for my girlfriends. NOTHING."

Y'know, Rentarou almost kissed that tongue who was in contact with shoes.
