I loved so much this new Rentarou's daily lif with his gf's format with every girl having two pages of screentime. I just loved so much seeing Kusuri, being all lovey-dovey with Rentarou and Himeka's was actually really cute too, it's actually really good to see more traits than just "I like being weird" It's cool how she can be serious and actually loves Rentarou. And Usa-chan was soooooo peak, so cute, she being in fear about how maybe Rentarou didn't care for her as much as she did for him to see how absolutely perfect chadtarou is.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected my favorite X-Man getting referenced in something like this as if I needed any more reasons to love the hell out of this manga. Also, I can't even pick out my favorite bit from this chapter because they all were amazing.

That's because she's normal, and just pretends to be abnormal, but when she's with Rentarou she just acts like herself.

I know Himeka is actually a sensible person that simply strive for abnormal-ness that's within her common sense, but you see, it should've been fine for her to go for something a bit unusual for her dating activities, moreso when she knows fully that Rentarou would gladly take her up on the offer (heck, if allowed, Rentarou himself could definitely come up with some abnormal ideas Himeka would approve of), but instead they did some pretty normal stuffs.

Do remember that Himeka once goes as far as rejecting Rentarou cuz she thought he wasn't that abnormal.

Thus i see these as Himeka's gesture of fondness, as Rentarou and the Family had satisfied her quota of abnormal-ness, she's content spending time with them normally.

But yeah it is pretty funny that when she started dating him she decided to act (semi) normal on her dates with him, maybe it's because it's her rare 1 on 1 time without anyone else there.

Well, if we talk depth Himeka isn't exactly all that normal, considering her idea of an improvement from "Genius" is "Abnormal/Eccentric Genius", and that she's hasn't realized yet that most of her attempts to be called that will mostly earn her the moniker "Silly/Clumsy Genius" instead.


Also, just me talking to myself, but funny that in the previous Daily Life with Girlfriends, it's also the Himeka's part in my comment there that induces responds.

• original gets resurrected and the whole thing starts again from step 4 onwards.
• ditto with clone.

Yes, Scott Summers' married life is that screwed up.

(And that's without even mentioning, the two time displaced children)

With modifications, some of these are legit possibilities in this manga:

• A self-sacrificing girlfriend (ready to die for the others for minor things like a leaf blowing their way)
• A cosmic entity girlfriend (we know gods are real in this universe, so...)
• A clone girlfriend (I blame Kusuri)
• A wacky space adventure girlfriend (astronaut or alien, or one of each)
• An undead girlfriend (or at least someone super goth)
• A demon girlfriend (we know gods are real in this universe...)
• A time-displaced girlfriend

Hmmm, maybe, but then again both could apply. Yandere basically just translates to scary lovey dovey, and I'd say someone showing up outside a second story bedroom window is pretty scary.

But yeah, in this case you might be right, because she didn't show up because she couldn't stand the thought of being apart, she showed up because she was feeling insecure about how many messages she was sending. Same outcome, but different thought process from the typical yandere.

Light as a feather, soft as a cloud. Uto looks adorable when she’s so flustered, especially when she’s caught off guard. I still can’t believe Hakari is under the impression her “pure maiden” act is fooling anyone.



Yamame is the type to give you a bear hug that is strong enough to immobilize an actual bear. Usami’s borderline stalker behavior would be off putting, if she wasn’t so honest and earnest about it. There are no ulterior motives behind any of her actions, unlike a certain someone. I’m more impressed with Tama’s ability to discern the sex of cats in one look, she could probably get a job working as a vet or maybe even a cat cafe if she tried hard enough. I’m sure it wouldn’t be nearly that bad as her other jobs. Granted getting a veterinarian’s license would take too long, so maybe a cat cafe would be better.



Kusuri (8) is just so gosh darn cute, she’s so excitable it’s endearing, honestly it reminds me of Clara from Iruma-kun the way she acts, especially when embarrassed. Saki is still perfect, she looks amazing in casual clothes too! She’s almost a thunders, but is more honest than she would need to be to qualify for that title. So Rentarou has now become Freeza (Final Form), Shin Godzilla, Astroboy, and now Cyclops from the X-Men? His tears are so strong, honestly I bet he could clean up Isle Delfino in no time flat with that level of force.



Himeka is more tomboyish than one might expect, but that’s just a part of her charm, she’s very straightforward. Her being not only comfortable, but comforted in the knowledge that she just can’t beat Rentarou is cute. Shows that deep down despite her outgoing personality, and strong sense of will, she’s still just a girl who wants to be protected by the one she loves at heart. Like a princess and her knight, she likes to know no matter what, Rentarou will always protect her. If she was someone like Iku it might spur her to get better and overcome that gap between them, but she likes that gap, it doesn’t make her feel the way losing to anyone else might make her feel.
