Hahari is honestly a pretty tragic character. I'm being for real. She tortured herself with an impossible ultimatum brought on by the death of her husband which resulted in her throwing her formative years away to raise Hakari, for the sake of keeping his memory alive.
Does she regret it? Probably not, but we can't say for certain. She clearly loves Hakari to death, but her dream of wanting to experience being a teenager and growing up and finding love is extremely depressing only in a way that this manga could pull off.
The more I think about this chapter, the more it's becoming one of my favorites, very close behind Chapter 3.
