Okay let me get this out there...I was honestly looking forward to have that story where the Public will be an obstacle to the Harem. where Society will start questioning Rentarou family's relationship.
Literally months into the future here, but thinking about it, they've entered multiple public events and competitions, and even were just out on the town in many different chapters. And in every single one that required or displayed their team/group name, it's proudly announced or displayed as "Rentarou's Family", and it's literally one boy named Aijou Rentarou and however many girls are in the "Family" (lol we mafia now) when the arc took place.
They don't mind being in public and they don't act like they're trying to not look like a harem or anything, so there's definitely people that put it together. Most others are probably jealous, others might thinking one girlfriend is hard enough and the harem is bound to implode and don't envy Rentarou, and some others are also probably doing the typical romcom trope and thinking "oh, to be young. Kids sure are making the most of their youth these days! fufufu~~n" lol
I'm pretty sure if we did actually get a RF v. Society arc, it wouldn't be very entertaining or interesting or even as enthralling story-wise and would maybe even need to rely solely on the comedy out of necessity.
I mean, we know their stance, we know what Rentarou and the girls would do for the "Family", and we've had multiple similar conflicts arise but on smaller scales in previous arcs, usually when it came to parents, or in this chapter, classmates. And more specifically, Hahari's intro arc as the first major story arc/saga closer.
Making an entire arc just for that might end up feeling redundant, or even like backtracking onto previously treaded trails that already managed to get the gist with the least amount of fluff and handled in the most efficient ways that Nano would even be impressed by Nakamura-sensei's efficient and subtle writing techniques that managed to cover the potential societal barriers they could face in small pieces or even subtle background bits throughout the series, with props also rightfully going to Nozawa-sensei for being able to illustrate and convey those subtleties through her art and the background contents of any given panels in general, regardless of whether or not the background contents are written in the script by Nakamura or were more vague or even an idea Nozawa wanted to toss in or try.
I dunno, it feels like its no longer a major issue, but im also sure and confident that if Nakamura did want to write an arc focusing specifically on that, then I have no doubts that it would be an absolute banger and pull it off without feeling like a retread or resurrected a dead and buried plot point only to end up redundant and unpopular. Not to mention Nozawa would be able to illustrate whatever is necessary and then some just to make sure that even if the plot or dialogue doesn't end up gripping/hooking the readers, then at least, her art would be able to entertain and maintain the readers' attention and commitment to finishing the chapter and coming back for the next one regardless.
Also underrated but that Sweater Short Black Hair Girl is really pretty like goddamn.
She looks like an older Chiyo, who switched to contact lenses after graduating middle school/junior high so she can have a fresh look and style for her "High School Debut" haha and I don't mean in a bad way, in case anyone somehow thinks that for some reason lol
Actually she also kinda looks like an older Kurumi, with a more "School Appropriate" style for her High School debut instead of sticking with her current style.
Hell, since we've never seen her eyes, even during her intro arc, she could even possibly look like Meme after cutting her hair short and shoulder-length and shortening, or at least brushing her bangs aside haha
