Another round of Fucking Applause!!! this manga still never fails to give me a laugh. Im glad I dont binge this and just read it on the weekly, the jokes still land and the jokes are all still fresh! Anyways about Kiki...

I like how META we are literally going into the very definition of abnormality of characters out of all of them. I thought Kiki's character would rub the Family the wrong way and they would bring out some unique quirk. but she is ultimately normal. She admires abnormality and PRETENDS to be abnormal and that could be called Abnormal in and of itself. Its just bonkers! what her character really brings into the family. We could both say she is the first EVER normal GF in the family but also abnormal too.

All the girls in the top panel on page 17 are the ones who can still feel shame enough to realize that maybe their vices and abnormalities might be a problem. They can recognize it but don’t go through the trouble of fixing it… that’s… that’s oddly realistic. Well Shizuka is the exception there because she remains as she is, not for lack of trying, but for the inability to see results. We just went over this so I don’t think I need to re-open that proverbial wound and re-examine the entire situation surrounding her, let’s just be happy her home life is better, still feel absolutely terrible for her though…

Hahari won’t change though no matter what, she’s been this way all her life and she has the power to maintain it. Also the only person in her life who takes issue with her behavior the most, just so happens to be her daughter so it kinda goes in one ear and out the other, unless a gag needs it not to.

Oh and the joke at the bottom of page 14 is double layered since you normally associate those things with a very specific set of the girls, especially that porno mag, Hakari and I guess Momoha would fit that bill huh? Though Momoha is more the bottle of alcohol.

HOLY SHIT! Deeeeem XuN scanlation team ISN'T fucking around. They're in for serious business, hot damn. From what I can see, page 18 is a 1 to 1 faithful recreation of the raws. If so, they musta dug up so much chapter from the past and edited them all identical to the raw version. Thanks for the translations XuN, you guys are the best.
