Bro, the argument was 2 years ago. You could just leave it at that. The "yuri"-hater probably not read this manga anymore. Not like it matters in the first place. The thing that gets me is people are only complaining about Karane and Hakari, but not a word has been spared about Mei. Crenanville, who seemed one of the more moderate arguers talked alot about Rentarou remaining the axis of the harem, but Hahari is indisputably the body which Mei orbits, with Rentarō being a pleasurable side-benefit. That state of affairs did not somehow break the manga so I’m not sure the anti-polycule positions actually hold water.
overall, I’m kinda tired of seeing people complain about yuri every single time it appears, but the name-calling and defensiveness are both a particularly egregious waste of time, energy, and feelings
Wow, I came back to check the chapters that would appear in the Anime and didn't thought I would see a post that reflected my thoughts so well, specially now that 150 chapters later there are a lot of people that think or want the "Yuri ships" as Canon (and I mean plural since there are like 20 of them, a new one gets created everytime a girlfriend looks at another for more than 5 seconds) or think that the soulmate status is shared among all the girls (31 at the moment of this post)@deathmailrock Personally, I only dislike yuri in such titles on two occasions. When the writer forgets about premise and turns part of the plot into a lesbian NTR and when it is used to "save" the purity of girls who are losing. Otherwise, this is a harmless fan service that will not do anyone badly. In fact, sometimes I even think about adding the yuri tag here, as the author seems to be very fond of yuri fanservice with or without reason.
@princess_daphie Until it turns into a lesbian NTR, I don't care about it. I'm not a prude enough to be against gay fanservice in straight title.
