Notice the scars in little Liam’s hand. So Isaac presumably has a facial scar that he hides under his hood I guess.

I like how casually Violet mentions all the horrible stuff that has happened in the College and no one bats an eye, they are just so used to stuff like that.

Isaac’s body language during his conversation with Philomela was pretty, which is saying something since half his head is hidden.

I appreciate that we finally get to see Veronica having a proper conversation for once. The ages pf several characters is also good to know.

Seems like many people want this arc to be soon over and want Chise and Elias's plot to come back already. I think that the current arc is interesting in its own way. It serves for Chise's growth a lot since she did not have a proper childhood. The only thing that I would want to remove is a third-rate villain like Philomela's grandmother.

I'm so hyped for this arc and it really makes me sad alot of people just straight up want this arc to end. I love the world and character building as well as the introspectives the characters are having.

I honestly think the arc is providing a lot of important experiences for Elias and Chise, our two socially stunted characters. Its good for them to have connections in all sorts of places, even when living a hermit lifestyle.

Veronica thinks like a politician, but isnt mean spirited.

We never stoped Chise and Elias "plot", they are still learning about themselves and one another, the author is applying realism on how their relationship is growing. There is only so much you can do to grow character out of their funk when they only have each other.

Personaly i love this arc, took some time to reachbthe core of every character introduced but now we have some fun things happening, i love seeing the diferent types of magic and Elias and Chise have new friends, seeing them stumble on the most simple ways of friendship is funny, more so because everyone deal with some time or other

Edit: almost forgot to share, maybe some of you know but there is spin offs of the main series, one is about a changeling P.I. in New York and the other os about a gender bent version of Chise and Elias situation that happens in France. The second is so-so in my opinion but the first one is amazing, you can find them on mangasee, they are still being made and the site uses the oficial scans.

@AvidWebFan Are you talking about the notice at the end of this chapter? That didnt say anything about season 2, it is a ova that happens before the Colege arc, unless there was a notice i missed.
