A case of careful what you wish for I guess. "We want more of the main couple" and ends up with... this :poop: Which isn't to say this is unrealistic despite being dumb, but certainly would've been nice to enjoy some fluffiness.

I don't hate it as much as everyone else seems to (yet :p), but I also don't understand why would the author go for this while Riri x Uda is still up in the air :p It's not very interesting to explore such a typical conflict between the main pair after we already had one that was much more unique.

Maybe it's because it's been so long since I read this, but I feel oddly at peace with this fabricated as fuck conflict.

This chapter made me feel the discomfort that you feel while being too angry.

As much as this drama is seeming played up, there are people who have such communication issues. They build something up in their head and just never want to acknowledge it. Often, these things aren't a problem worth blame or apologies at the start, but then you turn stubborn and deny the efforts and feelings of your partner.

It's probably the most common blanket issue couples have and will always look dumb from the outside, cause it is. Be vulnerable for your partner!

Still silly that we are getting it as manufactured drama in this.

How tf cant you think she is trash, when she literally let some random b*tch talk shit and treat her GF like shit? Then she really ask why Mashiro told her to not meet that b*tch anymore after all that happened, like she almost see no problem with how the b*tch acted to Mashiro… She then acts like a crybaby by getting mad over Mashiro not telling her something Nagisa should have realised herself with ease, right after Nagisa herself refuse to tell Mashiro something… Then instead of using her fucking brain a little to think herself, she does what she did in this chapter and then get mad like a crybaby again…

Litterally everything that have happened since the b*tch showed up have proved how trash of a GF Nagisa is...
Because I can understand Nagisa's inexperienced not only due to her being a teenager but because she never really had social interactions with others. I don't think she really had friends before. Her time had been divided by studying and taking care of her siblings.

Mashiro, even though she's also had limited encounters with others outside of her house, had the chance to learn empathy because her parents constantly worried over her. She's had to watch them care for her while balance their schedules so it's understandable that while her parents never say it, she's often felt like she's an inconvenience for them. Hell, she knows she totally f#cked Nagisa over by making her miss her dream school's entrance exam.

But Nagisa hasn't learned how to put herself in another person's shoes and while I dislike how she's being forced to learn about empathy, I can understand why it's necessary for her to learn and comprehend why she hasn't either.

Besides, no one is perfect. She'd only be trash if she knew she was hurting Mashiro with her decisions and did them anyway. But she's trying to open communication, trying to learn how to fix the problem simply because she cannot understand without explicit explanation, and is getting frustrated because the solution for her is simple: Mashiro communicates and then they can fix the problem. She can't possibly know about Mashiro's very valid concern of influencing Nagisa's decisions/actions by imposing her feelings on her because she probably hasn't dealt with a problem like this before.

Like I said, I expected Nagisa's flaw to be her hyper focusing on cram school and not for the author to take this empathy lacking miscommunication route, but I understand that they are teenage girls who are dealing with love for the first time. It will get messy at times.

I think mashiro is a bit at fault though too. Just a teeny weeny little bit though. People can, unintentionally, be really dumb so their partner has to point out what should be obvious. If nagisa fails the skill-check after figuring out why mashiro is upset or is told straight up what the problem is, then I def hear what you're saying.

I'd say give nagisa one chance here. One of the most hurtful things your partner can do is say they don't feel like they can confide in you. That's pretty much what mashiro said even if that wasn't her intention. Nagisa should try to be more patient with mashiro but it's pretty realistic for a teenager to not be that emotionally intelligent; especially, after feeling intense emotional pain.

Hopefully, next chapter they'll actually talk instead of drawing out the cringe teenage drama 🙏.
1. The fact she cant see the problem after literally standing there watching some random b*tch talk trash to her GF and treat her like trash, shows us what we need to know about Nagisa…
2. “Dont feel like they can confide in you”, have you forgotten what Nagisa did right before Mashiro didnt want to tell her something (even though it was so easy to see for everybody else than Nagisa), exactly she literally did the exact same thing and refused to tell Mashiro something and then Nagisa got mad like a crybaby when Mashiro didnt want to tell her something… talk about a hypocrite….

Hopefully Mashiro breaks up with Nagisa next chapter (even though I know this would never happen Sadly…)

Mate there is no way you just used an excuse such as ”never had social interactions” to argue about how she somehow cant see whats the problem is about some random b*tch talking trash and treat her GF like trash… Not only that but she herself refuse to tell Mashiro something and then when Mashiro doesnt tell her something she gets mad like a crybaby…
Lets be real everything about this so far shows us how trash Nagisa is and how much Mishiro deserves someone better…

Judging by much of the comments made by everyone, Nagisa isn't the only person suffering from lack of empathy or ability to put themselves in someone else's shoes. Lack of social skills and awareness are very valid reasons as to why Nagisa isn't able to comprehend the consequences of her inaction regarding Kouhai. She can't possibly know what Mashiro feels because Mashiro won't communicate. Nagisa doesn't know how to handle such situations but I can see my point is not getting across. Obviously we have a difference of opinion. I'm not trying to get you to change your mind, just saying that it's impossible expect maturity and a level of empathy from someone who's socially stunted.

Have a good rest of your day.

It's been so long I forgot number 2. Just saying nagisa is acting the way a teenage goober would. Annoying to read though :(

It would actually be really interesting if they broke up because of nagisa's inability to stand up for her girlfriend and on top of that continuing to interact with the person who harrased her without consequence.

Nagisa could have some character growth and earn mashiro's forgiveness by fixing her priorities to be that of an actual partner. Not some pedestrian who sits idly by watching as someone is being berated in public.

I don't feel as negatively about this as other people do. I think it's a relatively realistic communication gap. The fact that it is caused by a character who didn't exist previously and who berates Mashiro in public for... existing... is pretty hard to believe, but I feel like this chapter was actually pretty good.

Nagisa dont deserve Mashiro at all after all of this. She can get the b*tch, while Mashiro find someone that actually likes her

I get the anger, but kids are dumb. It's really up to the two of them as to whether they can get through this. I know a couple where one cheated on the other, but their partner gave them a second chance and now they're married with two kids. Idk if I would've given them a second chance but a lot is possible when strong feelings of love are present.

Edit: Tlo over here doesn't seem to understand what I'm saying.

I'm saying regardless of whether someone deserves forgiveness is up to the other person. And that even if it's a dumb decision, when you love someone very deeply, it's hard to make the most sensable choice. I'm not saying it's right and I'm not saying the cheaters behavior was forgiveable. I'm saying this is just how relationships are irl. They can get really messy and ugly.
