Sex is an inherent part of a relationship. The fact that most romance authors like to have their characters live in an idealized world doesn't change that fact. Don't write romance if you can't deal with what comes with a relationship.

She's 15, he's 14.5. in most first-world nations, they'd be high-schoolers. The "middle school" label is a bit of a trap.

There's a lot of pent-up need and desire in the both of them -- his suppressed from misplaced concern, hers repressed out of deference to his struggles. This was the perfect balance between satisfying their hunger for each other and respecting their (rapidly diminishing) boundaries.

Christmas should be even more interesting this year than last.

It's like saying, why is character drawn going to poop ? In "Lord of the Rings" none of the characters ever needed toilet, I don't want to hear about poop in my manga! Except LotR is written on purpose as high-minded story like sagas of heroes of old, so it's fair if Tolkien ignores toilet needs, but it doesn't make his approach better than author who writes their characters taking dumps, just different.

I could understand someone having problems with the cover page, not that Norio doesn't have right to draw it, but at least I can see criticizing it as unnecessarily titillating without being important to the story.
