wtf is this logic.
MC is under the impression that Hara is sending a "grave" threat to Yamada. and he has a problem with girls having a correct response to Hara after that? Why does he care if the girls' relationship became strained after one of them do something that will strain the relationship and why the hell did he think that taking responsibility for that action is anyway rational?

I understand the concept of throwing yourself under the bus for a goal(to help, keep peace etc.) but this is more like switching places with someone trying to commit suicide by bus.

That blond dude is a fucking hypocrite ... Why is he trying to act like a moral god person ... That fucker literally disrespected her by saying "That would be cool if i had a sex slavethat looked like her" in a previous chapter and now he act like "How dare you write that" What an asshole ...

@Rarez Agreed. He definitely did not need to ‘sacrifice’ himself for their friend group, even if his assumptions about the death threat where true.

At the end of the day, this is a romcom manga. So the author probably just needed an event that would make the FL notice the ML even more. Although if the fatty didn’t come in to diffuse the situation, RIP any chance of a relationship between them.

Yamada knew Ichi could draw because he swapped the one dudes note for his girl-that-was-totally-not-Yamamda drawing from his "dark fantasy" novel idea. Cute.

>wtf is this logic.

Ichikawa already thinks of himself as the class outcast
Ichikawa is actually just a 14 years old with a severe case of chuuni
Ichikawa is Japanese, their culture puts the community over the individual

1.Why would he care if someone else get outcast-ed?
2.He's type of chuuni is definitely not the "Good" but more like "Evil" type. so why would his chuuni-ness allow this action?
3.How does keeping the threat-maker / bully and girls' relationship fruitlessly good (as she still sent a "grave" threat). (if he's first assumption is true) a pro-community and anti-individual stance?.
A Pro-community stance and Anti-individual stance is ostracize and remove the bad ones from the community ASAP.

btw. why will an outcast care about the community?

1.Why would he care if someone else get outcast-ed?
Because Ichi is a good boy

2.He's type of chuuni is definitely not the "Good" but more like "Evil" type. so why would his chuuni-ness allow this action
what i meant is that he is young boy with little life experience you can't expect him to make the correct logical choice every time like some sort of Vulcan.

3.How does keeping the threat-maker / bully and girls' relationship fruitlessly good (as she still sent a "grave" threat). (if he's first assumption is true) a pro-community and anti-individual stance?.
letting the girl's atmosphere become bad would sully the whole class' atmosphere in his mind he is an outcast (he isn't) so it doesn't matter if people hate him more

there is nothing anti-individual just Japanese people put the community first before the individual

btw. why will an outcast care about the community?
He just believes he is an outcast, he isn't, and as i said before he is just a good boy

3. From my first post here
"I understand the concept of throwing yourself under the bus for a goal(to help, keep peace etc.) but this is more like switching places with someone trying to commit suicide by bus."
It solves nothing and someone still died.

In this case. we have "oh good, we have 2 bullies in this classroom" situation, If the MC's first assumption about bullying is correct and his succeeding action. the most likely outcome is the MC will be labeled as a bully and the girl will get scot-free from that bullying action and continue bullying (and get confused as to why the MC took the fall).

But i guess the correct counter argument for this is "HE'S A G*D D*MNED IDIOT". I have a very high tolerance for this kind justification. but this one just pushed me over the edge. Because this one doesn't feel like idiocy this just felt illogical

btw. I'm not asking for Vulcan-level logic. only human high-schooler level logic.
btw 2. was he planning to rehabilitate her or something? is that he that type of character?

She was supposed to be a ghost in the haunted house. Wouldn't it make sense to have her grave in there?

Legit surprised he didn't use that for an explanation.

Yamada remembered Ichi is a good artist from the drawing he gave her earlier. I'm sure she still has it, I wonder when it'll appear again. Maybe if Ichi ever gets to see her room.

Mc is so wholesome. But he has seen the truth death is nothing more than salvation from the shackles we call life.

The blondie clearly being all justice toward Ichikawa because he want to show off in front of Yamada that he care.
