I found the answer in the discussion for chapter 72:

I think the Great Mangadex Blackout is to blame. This series was just getting better and better until suddenly no more comments. It makes me sad to lose that bit of community squeeeing, but I know people still love this story.

On page 10 Yamada didn't respond to her phone buzzing. She wanted to spend time with Ichikawa so much, she was prepared to blow off work for it. Her feelings are so strong
