@pockettrash
I appreciate your input, but it's not like I stated my own personal belief. I merely reminded others about the tag's meaning. "Award Winning" in a manga description is a very specific tag, which has long roots, and as most manga-related tags is based on its consensual understanding from the classic Baka-Updates Manga (which is basically AniDB and VNDB, or even E-Hentai, but for manga). And that was likely reached even earlier.
Also "Award Winning" is arguably the most important tag, as it marks the highest quality and excellence of a work. It shouldn't be taken lightly to avoid confusion and misinformation.
You might also enjoy some fundamental research, like checking out this, at least: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_manga_awards
P.S. Please refrain from using edit function when you don't know what you're doing. Thank you.
---->EDIT: Actually, I looked into Tsugi ni Kuru and it is an actual award, albeit a small one. So I retract most of my statement. Yeah, it's Award Winning series now, can't argue that.
So my initial confusion came from
this page. Since the translator team literally translated the Award name, it looked to me as some random popularity vote. Googling not yielding much results with the translation only supported this view. Oh well, thank you, or however did some looking, for finding out the actual name.
Cheers.
