Well this series looks... Not great so far. He seems to have gone from "I really don't want to kill anything" to "Fuck off, bandits. You should get the hell out of here" to "I won't be leaving any of you alive, scum" at the drop of a hat. Seems really high and mighty tooting his own horn with the whole "You are nothing but a bump in the road" and "I'm such a capable annihilator" thing too, while I get the impression the series is going to act like he's really humble.
Well, hopefully I'm just jumping the gun here. It's only the second chapter - not really a good basis to judge a series off of.

@SilverSun Saitama was an adrenaline junkie... so for him, it made sense... Saiki Kusou also had a good reason with all the negatives and stuff (though he later learns to appreciate them more)...

I feel like these authors just saw that and tried to plug in the trope without actually thinking about the reason. So even though the power is only a benefit, he complains, because other series had the character complain about the power... it's like they want the same result, but don't think about the why.

If the cost of power is what you love, then yes, it would make sense that he'd feel cursed... but instead, for him, the power was basically a free gift without cost... so it's stupid...

@HomeSlice Yes, it's plain stupidity... the author just tried to copy Saitama without the substance.
