So you want a slow life in exile but dont tell the people who followed you to bugger off? Very smart. Cant forget "God's will", religion is always "great" in these stories, cant wait for it to fail

I added this to my list because people got so excited from just 4 pages of prologue without much context
now I can see more albeit just a little

another fantasy world building to overcome the food shortage?

A form of hand-wave divine blessing? Check.
Exiled to "the frontier"? Check.
We're gonna need a failed villainess here, pronto.

I am already impressed by the mc... Instead of complaining or trying to sneak off in the classic "comedy lead is a bit of a bum" style, he sets a goal openly and gets to it. I am looking forward to seeing how things go from here!

What, you think praying without working gonna make a crate of food fall from the sky? As if! Probality rate for that is like 0.05 percent and only happen when you are desperate enough!

Wrong. If you're suffering it's God's trial. If something good happens it's God's blessings.
This, but unironically. Ok, maybe not everything can be rationalized like this, but there have been tons of time where I go through trials because of my own stupidity, and get blessed despite having done nothing.

@CatLover556 In page 4, "has" should be "have".

I wonder why Joshua was exiled? Perhaps he was exiled the same reason Joseph was? To get to the right place, right time to help overcome a famine and to guide people away from conflict?

Joshua's very earnest with his goals, and he has a good heart for planning. Seems being an office worker means he knows how to do really hard work. At least here, he's appreciated and loved for all of it. He's also pretty knowledgeable about lots of things, which definitely helps with planning
