I sympathise with her she was only a teenager if she we’re living i our era she could’ve been left off some choices and to do whatever she likes and when she’s ready to have a child she could fully devote herself to that your child support him but I understand she’s only 17 and she wants to leave her life but it must now come to an end that she have a child to look after too so that’s the price she has to pay for living as a woman with responsibilities

She was a bad mother. Nothing will change that.
Her fault completely or not, the fact he grew up without motherly love isn't going to change.
I'm guessing he's going to forgive her later but his childhood will remain the same.
She'll be extremely lucky if they forgive her. Lmao.

The whole premise is bull and immediately cannot see how the mc is the villian here. The whole shaming her when she wanted to socialize have some fun is incredibly misogynistic. Why can't the wet nurse take care of the child?? Just one night and the mc has to get lectured for being a bad mother after bearing with it for 5 years???? Who wouldn't hate the child then?

@Erica_483 and the father saying "you can't go socialize with your friends because you have a kid"....yeah...well he's your kid too, maybe look after him for a few hours.

If she’s only 22 when her son was 5, then she’s only 17 when she had Vicente (her son)??? What do you expect from a teenage girl who enjoys partying and hanging out with her friends then suddenly had a child from an early age? I do not plan to shame teenage moms, what I meant was being a mother at that age was not something she wanted in the first place. Sure she indeed neglected her child, but if only she had enjoyed her youth and became a mother the moment she matured then she definitely can turn into a wonderful mother to her son.

@Erica_483 Normally, I'd agree with you. But from Vincente and the maid's reactions, it seems like there's a bit more to the story. Emotional unavailability perhaps even emotional abuse could be part of the story

I see where she comes from especially with how young she was but that doesnt execuse her neglect for her child.Regardless her child still had an upbringing with no motherly love and honestly I wont blame him if he hates her he has every right to after she neglected him but I see where she is coming from.

God just 17 when she had her kid, and basically shunned and discouraged every time she would go out for a night. That was probably for the first time in five years.
I understand that room for resentment she was basically there to become a mother too soon and wasn't ready for the role. Nor did she have that network or support she needed.

But also I see she still tried with her son to an extent until she just gave up because there was a natural rift between the two. It doesn't excuse her neglect but I understand it. Course there is also the husband there.

Her husband doesn't seem like much either, a real piece of work there, and didn't really help her in that department. They really shouldn't have been parents so soon.

I wouldn't say she's a narcissistic bitch, rather a very lonely and resentful person, who had her life upheaved far too quickly and only near the end of her life could comprehend or do so beforehand but it was long gone for her son and her.

@HOOfan_1 literallyyy I'm seeing so many comments shitting on her when honestly the dad was the one that irked me the most like he expects her to do everything?? plus the reason why she felt resentment for her child was because of these sexist societal expectations putting pressure on her. Doesn't excuse what she did but the dad is guilty as well
