No, buddy! I've been eliminated from this farce of a game! Enjoy your bribe. I bet you'd sell the Lactose League for pennies if you could.

I demand that all my points be transferred to someone who isn't a cheater like @K.Angel or @bigtiddyoneesan. Bye šŸ‘‹
woah there. ever heard of "don't hate the Roland, hate the Library"? if you need a punching bag, i hear @Kogane makes squeaky toy noises when hit

Okay, @K.Angel gets @/gimme_yuri_plz's points, meaning that he gets 174 points, putting him in the lead.
also I won't sell the LL like that... but it looks like you don't want to be in it anymore so i'll also removed you out of there too...

No, I'm still on the LL. I was just upset with you for trading favors in your made-up game.

Can I still be in the game, actually? My anger has subsided. (but you are still a cheater, lol)

there's no rule saying you can quit and give up your points to others.

and inb4 "i make the rules" or something: okay but if you do these kinds of things on a whim just because "it's funny" or "it makes it more interesting" then it degrades the game's integrity.

I didn't say she quit, she can't exit out of the game, I was going by her transfering her points... :shamihuh: oh fuck I forgot that I didn't add that to the rules I was THIS close to adding it😭

Can I give up transferring my points and still stay in the game? I'm feeling calmer now. I still think the game is tainted, but whatever.

not sure i fully understand this one. right now the only 'random effects' present in the game are the Roland dice rolls, right? so according to part 1 of this rule, @K.Angel can set all the Roland dice rolls to their "most neutral outcome"? which of these possibilities would be considered the "most neutral outcome"?:

furthermore, 'no random effects occurring' would mean that all Rolands had opted out of a dice roll for that day, right? (at least at this point in the game where Roland dice rolls are the only 'random effects'.)
does "each (5) pointer" refer to each message that has at least 5 reactions? or does it mean 'for every 5 points earned in a day, @K.Angel receives an additional 3 points'?

i ask this not because i necessarily take umbrage with the rule, but because i want it to be specified more.

and lastly, why is nobody else as autistically detail-oriented about this as i am??
Okayy then!!! I'll explain it in detail

K.Angel Authority Rule

A player designated as K.Angel may, once per 24-hour scoring period, invoke Authority.

This must be declared before any scoring or effects are resolved.

When Authority is invoked:

1. Definition of Random Effect

A ā€œrandom effectā€ is any rule or mechanic whose outcome is determined by chance (including, but not limited to, dice rolls, random selection, or probability-based outcomes).
At present, this includes all Roland dice roll effects.

2. Neutral Outcome Enforcement

All random effects during that scoring period shall resolve as a neutral outcome, defined as:

• No increase or decrease in points
• No additional effects, transfers, multipliers, immunities, or rule bypasses applied
• The effect is treated as though it produced no result

For clarity (BTO's sake):

• Any Roland dice roll is treated as having no effect on score or status

3. Favored Resolution Clause

After neutralizing all random effects, K.Angel may select one (1) random effect instance from that scoring period and instead resolve it at its most favorable possible outcome for the affected player, as defined by that rule.

4. No Random Effects Condition

If no random effects occur during the scoring period, KAngel shall instead receive a flat +3 point bonus.

5. Priority Clause

This rule takes precedence over all other rules governing random effects. No other rule may override, alter, or bypass the effects of Authority.

DING DONG DING DONG!

@Itsukimoto HAS NOW ALLOWED EVERYONE TO ROLL THE Roland Diceā„¢.
IF YOU FORGOT HOW THE DICE RULE WORKS, HERE IT IS:
THOSE WITH A ROLAND PFP ROLL A DICE EVERYDAY AT THE START OF THE SCORE TALLY. HERE ARE THE FOLLOWING EFFECTS:

IF YOU ROLL A ONE YOUR POINTS GET HALVED, ROLL IT AGAIN AND YOUR POINTS GET WIPED.

IF YOU ROLL A TWO, A RANDOM ELIMINATED PLAYERS' POINTS WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO YOU.

IF YOU ROLL A THREE, YOUR POINTS GET DOUBLED.

ROLL A FOUR, A RANDOM RULE WILL NOT APPLY TO YOU (except for some fundamental rules)

ROLL A FIVE, YOU'LL BE ABLE TO ROLL AGAIN AND YOUR POINTS WILL EITHER BE SUBTRACTED BY 5 OR ADDED BY 5, DEPENDING ON IF YOUR SCORE IS EVEN OR NOT.

ROLL A SIX AND YOUR POINTS WILL BE MULTIPLED FROM 1 TO 4.

ROLL A SEVEN AND YOU'LL BE GIVEN IMMUNITY TO GETTING ELIMINATED FOR ONE DAY.
THIS TAKES EFFECT BEFORE THE NEW SCORES ARE COUNTED.
HAPPY ROLLING!
ALSO, THE DICE IS NOW COMPLETELY OPT-IN INSTEAD OF OPT-OUT FROM NOW ON.

• Any Roland dice roll is treated as having no effect on score or status
that clarifies that part, but it definitely was not clear with how it was initially worded. "most neutral outcome" can be read as "out of all possible outcomes, the most neutral will be effected". if the intention was to nullify the rng effects altogether, then it should have been stated as such.

3. Favored Resolution Clause

After neutralizing all random effects, K.Angel may select one (1) random effect instance from that scoring period and instead resolve it at its most favorable possible outcome for the affected player, as defined by that rule.
so now that the dice roll can be done by all players, this means that @K.Angel can:
1. nullify the dice rolls for all other players
2. choose the "most favorable possible outcome" for one player (himself). this outcome would probably be doubling his own points

@yogurtman250 this checks out right? according to the rule logic, @K.Angel can now do this? i'm confirming here.

also @Itsukimoto if you enabled dice rolls for everyone then you're partially culpable

5. Priority Clause

This rule takes precedence over all other rules governing random effects. No other rule may override, alter, or bypass the effects of Authority.
this priority clause was neither in your original message nor @yogurtman250's message when he added the rule. your original message:
@Kogane, add a new rule, A player designated as K.Angel may, once per 24-hour period during the scoring tally, exercise Authority over the outcome of random effects.

When Authority is invoked:
1. All random effects applied during that tally are treated as their most neutral outcome, and
2. K.Angel may select one (1) random effect to instead resolve at its most favorable possible outcome.

This decision must be declared at the start of tallying.

If no random effects occur, KAngel may instead grant themselves a +3 point adjustment for each (5) pointer.

>create vague rule
>asked to explain
>explain
>"btw also it can't be overturned lol"

What the hell is happening? Since when do we roll dice?

Everyone is making rules that benefit themselves. I can't come up with one because I don't really understand this game :haa:
