It was already fall, everyone has been in long sleeve winter uniforms for a few chapters now. So where the hell are you getting a timeskip from.

And where does it say anyone is being forced to go the prom?

Well, it’s not like they teach things in schools anymore. Then people grow up, learn that English isn’t phonetic and name their kid Burghkleigh-Kamiellaght like it’s smart.
(Honestly, it was like I was homeschooling my kid until we moved to this area. No way they’re going back. They were held back from learning SO BADLY… Teachers were idiots, lesson plans taught nothing…)

i think its a "choose the girl you love or the music you love to make" type of situation. like if she doesnt go to audition or whatever then Himes father wont be interested in her anymore. the question is will Mitsuki even know she has two choices here. shell probably think about inviting Aya too but idk man, i dont think shes capable of acting on it and will probably think Aya wouldnt want to go with her anyway. maybe that changed with her new gained confidence but idk, i can see only dark clouds for now

I don't know whether it's because of media illiteracy/short attention span as some claim or manga format as others do but y'all seem not to pay attention to what is happening.

1. In the last couple of chapters we were literally told TWICE that the new girl sees Koga as a tool for getting acknowledged by her family (father to be more precise), yet you act as if she was planning to violate her while Aya watches.
2. Their friends see there's something wrong with Aya and Koga's relationship and want to help fix it, so when the headmaster mentions a prom, Narita decides to prepare the party with this goal in mind, yet you say the prom came out of nowhere.
3. There were at least three different chapters on Aya's jealousy stopping her from talking things through with Koga, yet you call it a forced drama.
4. 25th of December is an obvious date for both prom (winter break starts on 26th December this year) and meeting with the new girl's father (for the very same reason), yet y'all seem to be surprised both things happen on that day.

i’m kinda with oosawa on this, because why did koga stop talking to her after she got popular? one could argue that it’s not koga’s fault because she’s not used to having people surround her—and of course oosawa is not gonna get in the way of that if koga has a chance of making friends. despite all that, if your favorite person is too busy to say anything to you or call out to you in some way- that hurts!
