Maybe they don't go to prom together. But they can make one for the two of them alone. Not all is lost, plus is a big opportunity for Koga. Still, is good that she put asides her little "fight" to help her get Koga even higher in her dream, that takes a lot of courage.
Even if it hurts a lot, Aya is putting Koga in front of herself. That is love.
