This is the second time her mind went straight to cheating again. I think author might be pretty bad at writing post confession stuff.
We don't have much to go on yet. It might be bad, it might be leading somewhere interesting. I'll wait to find out before worrying. I remember how salty some got in the comments when Hasegawa appeared, saying "ugh not NTR! before that turned out fine.

Your comment has me thinking, was the author good at writing pre-confession stuff? The main strength of this series was 1) Art! and 2) Strong character designs. But the plot itself often stuttered, thanks to the four-page webcomic format. Compared to other GOATS in the genre it feels like a standard rom-com plot. 11/10 Art, 10/10 Characters, 6/10 plot.

Super sweet. Sometimes you just need a good glomp and sniff sniff after a long day. People are unsurprisingly taking the cheating surprise joke way too far; it's not a serious comment. I wonder how they'll discuss the band issue though once they get the chance to talk about it. We're setting up personal issues for both of them in their new immediate friend circles and I wonder if they'll converge at some point? I'm interested in how we navigate them. Using their home as a sort of comfort base, while they each figure out their individual problems would be a fun way to handle it. I wonder if that'll be the intention. Mitsuki's dilemma is clear; let's see what Aya's will be.

It was at the very least serviceable till now because of "will they/won't they" as usual but post time skip stuff is utterly incoherent without a proper plot at this point.

It's portraited in a comedic tone previously as well. You are putting in head cannon level predictions with zero backing. Where is the lead up? There has been literally ZERO problems so far about that aspect of their relationship and her mind goes to cheating every single time for some reason. Have we EVER seen Mitsuki being interested in anyone else? Or anyone else being interested in her (romantically) ? Unless we've missed some major fuck ups during the time skip which makes even less sense for the author to skip over.
I dunno, thinking your significant other is cheating on you for literally just hugging you miiiight be a little toxic in a relationship

That's what i'm saying. She did the exact same thing in the previous chapters when as soon as she stepped in to the house and saw Mitsuki was at home early, she assumed she was cheating on her. People made up none existent shit in the plot to justify it during that chapter too just like the post i've replied to. What is the source of this ongoing cheating suspicion? There is literally nothing in the story to indicate anything of the sort.

She’d better off just ditch the band & start her own solo career at this point, girl has extremely bad luck with getting liked-minded bandmates. also is Aya insecure about their relationship ? She headcannon her girlfriend being unfaithful multiple times already with no good reason at all

They should end this story. Like it would be great, right now they are just trying to artificially extend the series...

Stay toxic, queen...

My ex used to hate it when I talked to other people online, because we met on twitter.

I had no friends for years!

I thought you were writing it off altogether with "it's comedic" like they are just messing around or something. I think the explanation is simple, the author kinda has no idea how to write relationship conflict so they accidentally keep making Oosawa toxic. Every very time I commented about Oosawas behaviour, I got flack and getting replies like "they are just teenagers, it's fine" or stuff like "a fight is totally normal, this is healthy".

I feel like it started even before Oosawa had her sudden anxiety arc:tm: with this sudden new character trait of hers and suddenly being unable to communicate properly. Back when Koga was gaining popularity with class, half the Oosawa panels were of her being jelous and or even upset for some reason.

Both Koga and Oosawa kind got a wild character change around the time of Koga gaining popularity. If you look in the first couple chapters until that happens, Oosawa was very confident, open and outgoing, then she suddenly turns into the, needy, overly anxious and mistrusting person she's now. Koga on the other hand did an entire 180, early Koga dressed the way she did cause she just didn't wanna stand out in school and didn't like talking to people all that much, then as soon as people like her songs, she revels being the center of attention and becomes as flashy as possible. Though with Koga it's a little more excusable cause the change isn't incomprehensible, maybe she wanted to be the center of attention all long (despite her constant inner monologue stating the opposite). Oosawa's change on the other hand isn't triggered by anything traumetic and is very hard to excuse. She just sees Koga being popular and blows a fuse.
