I feel like this is gonna get axed real quick, so I'll enjoy it while I can. After reading all those isekai where horrible people do horrible things and mostly get away with it, while the mc just drudges along, this feels like it pushes back the other side and brings a little balance.
That last scene was overkill, though.

PS: You guys really need to learn your internet lingo. This is most definitely not "edge", its madness. He's gone mad with hatred and vengeance, he's not doing it to be cool. He's not edgy, he's a mass murderer.

While I do like my dose of revenge porn. I just wished these kind of revenge isekais would not reset itself. (going into NG plus mode like the one with the healer dude comes to mind)

The revenge doesn't feel completely justified after the reset because the bad guys haven't screwed over the edgy protag yet.

I liked it, like someone said though you are confusing madness with edge. Edge would be being sheilf hero and bitching about life or long questioning or reasoning. This is full blow losses his shit and put all his effort to kill them or mess them up on sight. That why he slowly realizes his skill are gone, he was trying his all to kill them only to find something was wrong. The face explosion, maybe a bit extreme, but hey that's something new,

This mixes all sorts of isekai, gamesystem and time reversal plots in one giant disaster. The protagonist doesnt seem particularily interesting either, but full on EDGE. I'll see few more chapters, but off to a bad start.

Chapter 1 starts off with an edgelord plot, goes off the deep end into madness after the NG+ reset, and that alone would not be a bad thing. What broke the scene was rooted in the "gamesystem" that almost always ruins isekai stories. In the middle of his rampage he stops, thinks about the situation for a bit, stares at his menus, tries out some skills, etc while people are watching with swords drawn... it clearly shows the MC has not "lost it" if he is looking through his stat and skills in a game menu. Don't jump between mad with rage and being calm and collective.
Wortenia Senki does a considerably better job in a similar situation btw.
