Her ability is significantly worse than his though. I mean, he killed the demon lord through a time barrier because the miasma was detected as "killing intent"

I wonder how is she so fast and strong if her ability is instant death? Not like that can give you speed and strength.

Death is not necessary for evolution... Reproduction (and mutations) is necessary for evolution. That's a very important difference.

Also if you uncap evolution and direct it, yes a mouse can kill a bear. All life descends and evolved from a common ancestor, one branch went to bears and another to mice. Just the same it can evolve to something new with the capacity to kill a bear.

But is it just me or did nothing actually happen this chapter? They could have skipped this chapter and absolutely nothing would change in the story. Again, not a slight on the translation, but the writing. The art was good and everything, but the writing just feels like an empty filler chapter. We ended last time with him about to fight her and now we end with him about to fight her. Even though they just fought and she proved he doesn't even have a hope of having a chance against her.

He forced her to get "serious" by the end of last chapter, while he was just trying to by time to evolve his abilities, and now her harsh words have motivated him to push beyond his limits to face her at the end of this chapter. She will probably get serious-ly annoyed by him next chapter and finally kill him at the end.

It's probably not just the weak that are used, they probably grind up the strong they beat down with numbers, and the people who couldn't adapt to the drugs too.

We learned that the insta death ability activates automatically on anything that threatens her, and that the drug made by a goddess can be killed by it. also that shes seeking power for some reason. other than that yeah nothing was revealed.

Yeah, no, her whole mouse vs bear argument is a fallacy, since all modern mammals, including bears, are descended from small rodents. The very existence of bears proves a mouse could evolve into a bear.

I think the only way to kill her is with non direct "removal" abilities like teleporting her organs away or removing the oxygen from the air.
