I like this manga but sometimes it's not well thought out. Scarlet's making a pretty big assumption here, that the earrings were swapped in the vault.
They could've been swapped enroute to the vault, or at Scarlet's house, or the gem identifier could have lied, or something else I'm sure I haven't thought of.

The fact that little Lucia has the same smile as Abigail, implying she takes after the person who gave her back her emotions, is such a sweet detail
