First true confirmation that the audience is something physical! Really curious! Now, is Yuuma freaked out about the officer touching and messing with the audience-thing, or is he worried for the officer?

Also, that was a nice twist on the mouth reveal. One of those things that can only work in a drawing since the lips would stand out way more on an actual face.

the 6th booster will fix you up lady, lets go to the nearest vax center. I wanna say its a camera though, maybe there are recordings where he got abused, for evidence and shit.

Thanks for the chapter. I agree with others that it may not be a camera. A found cursed object maybe?
since the girl is perfectly fine talking in front of it, maybe another stuffed doll?
If it was another stuffed doll, I don’t think the officer would react this way as it Would be a normal thing in a kids room. I think it might be small enough where you can’t really notice it if Yuma sits in his chair and blocks it.

I thought of a small jizo statue, which reminds me of this manga golden gold

Reminder, when the abusive woman threw salt in the room, there was some “effects” that made it look like our point of view was suffering, like the kid ghost in an earlier story, when his father threw salt at him.

So maybe our POV is a ghost stuck there, and one reason Yuma would be against moving away from there. (He really only acted violently when the cop talked about taking him away… And he’s clearly not attached to his guardians.
