"There was only one thing I love, my family"
"As the wife of the duke"
Oh, so she must have really treated only her family well-
"I didn't really talk to my husband, and pushed him away"
...
It's going to be a case of her treating all her children like pawns, despite the earlier claims, isn't it?
How am I supposed to believe such a person would suddenly change, despite their death? She'd definitely just try to take over the royal family again, but even harder.
Also, we didn't see how she lived specifically in her previous life, but am I supposed to believe based on what little we know (such as her elitism, and her belief in the superiority of nobles) that she'd be willing to cover herself in poop? Or that she'd be so open to talking to commoners, or being disrespected by them?
And why, despite having fighting and magic skills, did she not try to defend herself in the slightest against her daughter? Even if we account for her 'love' of her daughter, she's now preparing herself to fight her daughter now, so I can't believe she wasn't willing to do so previously.
Also also, she died in her mansion, while on the run from the knights... why would she return to her mansion? That's stupid. Am I really supposed to believe that the knights wouldn't be combing through her home when looking for her?
I'm definitely overthinking all this.
