Not really, that usually only applies to oneshots on magazines.
This was an independent doujinshi, you can see other works by CybeR (I worked on another one as well), they're most likely never meant to have a continuation... but if popularity is high pixiv/twitter authors sometimes chose to continue - which I'm really hoping happens with this one C:
