She is? She looks like every other character in the story.

That is genuinely one of the most odd problems in some anime that exists. Especially "moe" anime.
Everyone look almost exactly the same, everyone look either gorgeous or really cute. And then a character is being brought up as the apostle of Aphrodite, the quintessential Greek goddess, flesh incarnate -- and that character looks exactly the same as everyone else, only has a bit of a different hairstyle.

It's incredibly jarring, it's to the point that seeing "normal looking people" in anime, is much more amazing than seeing very attractive characters.
