Ngl i thought it was pretty obvius that she was into her teacher. But that i dont understand it is if the mom already know because it seem like she has a vague idea
Oh she fully knows. Looking back now it's obvious the mom knew exactly why her daughter originally kept up with piano lessons and fully expected her to drop them after getting the news about her marriage and no longer doing lessons. The fact Saki immediately switched to talking about the beautiful girl she ran into wasn't lost on her either.

Yup, I came back to chapter 1, and the foreshadowing is so in your face it's not even foreshadowing, and I feel stupid for missing it the first time around. The mom doesn't just propose that she stop playing piano, she even comments that her daughter was never really into the instrument in the first place. Also her monk face and "hmm" when Saki launches into the story of meeting the beauty is just cherry on top.

She GAY gay.

At first I thought Saki was the Madoka to Kanon's Homura, but I reckon they're slowly becoming each other's Homura...?

Only upon rereading this did I notice that Saki is signing marriage with her two pinkies instead of a thumb and a pinky because the pinky is supposed to represent the woman ahhhh-! It's so cute how she finds the idea of signing marriage with a thumb uncomfortable. You can even see her put her phone down when the explanation uses the thumb and pinky.
