You'll need to ask Uxtef about that, I don't know what his policy is on licensed manga.

Are the raws always this grainy? Also why doesn't the translators clean the old Japanese text and just put words over them? I wish LH would snipe this series.

@Krynh Wouldn't make a difference for 90% of people, I worked off the volume raws and those aren't available for months after the chapter releases.

Man, I'm loving this manga, the wait really kills me. It's very solid and it's nice to come back after a year and read it from the beginning. The beast king arc really moved me, and I want to see where they go with this flood arc now.

However, if there's a character that makes 0 sense to me, it's got to be Tiera. Shin could give her the moon and the stars as a sign of his friendship, and she would still shit on him. Thinking back from the beginning, he... is basically the CEO of the company that she's effectively the cash register woman for, cured her of a dangerous and miserable lifelong curse, gave her their version of millions of dollars, provides her room and board in his own super-home, guarantees her safety just by being around, created and is in charge of her master, and gives her that planet's greatest equipment.

I absolutely don't mean to insinuate that she should be part of some kind of harem, please god no, but I really don't understand why after all those things... her only interaction with him is as some kind of half-ass comedy straight-man who complains when he performs miracles. There's quite a few well developed characters in this manga that get so little screen time... and then we have this incredibly flat gag character that shows zero interest in all the revelations the NPC's would get by interacting daily with someone like Shin, and instead just complains.

Also, while fighting an overwhelming number of very powerful enemies that would slaughter the town and her, Shin heads in to do exactly the job he is supposed to, and she complains that he might overdo it? I wonder what she would say if the Players weren't around...? Probably "Please god, send someone here to overdo it." That would be rich.

This is great. Just from the first volume alone I can see that the author has put great thoughts into the characters, world, and story. I'll be expecting a great experience from this manga.

(no spoilers)

Can anyone help me with something? This story basically has no end-goal; it's basically just an RPG quest where MC gets a new mission after another; but how am I feeling so engaged? Is it the mystery of the skullfaces? Is it the fantasy element keeping the readers occupied with learning more and more about the world? Is it the captivating and memorable characters?

In theory, this manga shouldn't work - an OP protagonist that runs zero risk without an end-goal in mind - yet somehow it does. Why?

Plz help cause I'm interested in improving my writing skills, thx.
