Shame it ended here, there is so much more in the novel... The golem command was not supposed to work and Carol was supposed to be sent to MC as a tribute along with the book, and leaving him with the last thing he sees is Chem's crying face before it turns black. Then Carol appears in the real world and later they adventure to Hokkaido to check the dev's office and return back to the world.

Also, I can definitely see it turning ass the instant it used the teleport to another world isekai garbage.

Probably a slightly unpopular opinion going off some of the comments here, but I didn't like where the novel went after this point. I think this is a perfectly fine ending that wraps up everything that matters (Yoshio, village).

I absolutely did not care for the otherworldly politics, godly spats, otherworld and reality "PVP", or the isekai and reverse-isekai portions that showed up originally. This revised ending (which cuts out what would've been the start of the isekai/reverse-sekai arc) is my preferred ending.
