Using a translation as your own political soapbox is shitty no matter how you slice it, even if you think your politics agrees with the manga.

Sure, I can see how people would think that's lame.

But more than that, people were also upset about the translations being weirdly worded at best and fucking "yolo fam XD" at worst.

For me personally the only issue I had with the translations was sometimes I'd be curious about what the original phrasing was. But I can see how this would irk some people.

But that's literally also true in this case isn't it? It's not like Koolio mistranslated the manga to make it more political. He just tossed the occasional dumb meme in.
Quite frankly aside for the one with the MLK quote I didn't even notice any of the credit pages until I noticed there was like 60+ comments per upload and then read the comments.
