@Logic I mean that's seemingly how the word is in China but it's been moving outward to Japan and honestly even the west. It's more like a 'Great' instead of what you would think when you heard Hero.

@Logic It was explained in a different manga, but IIRC Japan uses two different terms for "hero". The first is "Yuusha" or "Brave" which is the potential hero, basically anyone the local government/church thinks can be the Hero. The other is "Eiyuu", which means "True Hero", basically the guy that actually succeeds in killing the Demon Lord\King\Second Cousin Twice Removed. The "Hero" of this story falls into the former, he's the current noob that they sent out to die.

it would be more interesting if the hero's shitty personality is what broke the sword instead of that counterattack....

also quick question to those who can read the raws, does the mangaka use yuusha or eiyuu? they both translate to "hero" but there's supposed to be a difference in meaning and application.

Time for the completely unnecessary "MC is the actual hero, but royalty/church pulled strings to make their puppet the 'Hero'" arc. Now the Assassin will have to face Karna alone, and none of the "Hero's party" will learn their lesson. I know it won't happen in this "pure-hearted idiot MC" manga, but it would be great if his boss showed up and captured the humans for eternal torment. Like an actual demon should/would.

P.S. The sudden appearance of inverted nipples was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one nonetheless.

@MrMcNasty was kinda waiting for another to mentions the thing with the nipps XD.

his boss wouldn't torture them, as she is interested in humans

@Knighto
She's still a demon, so she'd probably sicc some succubi on them until they're begging for the sweet relief of death; and only then would she give them the offer she gave to Karna. You gotta establish the chain of command somehow.

@Beastmanga I see you fishing for kudos... I'm just glad to see some tiddies, yo. They know, like the unsung heroes they are.
