While the victors wrote history, I am surprised their propaganda actually was as honest as it were. They mentioned that the empire had to recover the supply lines at any cost, that the attack saved the front lines. They also mentioned that all jurists agree that it was all in accordance to the rules of warfare at the time, and that no attacks were made until hostages were executed. That the empire had both a need/motive, and a causus belli. They even implied the fact that the riots were supported by foreign powers onsite. Granted, they spoil the objectivity quite a bit by decrying it as evils that were committed, and the foreign troops werent actually stated to exist. But such is the rights of the victors.
That note they found makes me wonder, who at the time of arsene considered her as a hungry beast while also blaming the ones ordering her? The only char I currently know that thinks of her as an absolute maniac, is also wholly against her as if its personal and I dont remember the guy reflecting on her superiors being the people actually giving her the orders.
