Agreed. I could understand her not being happy about her position (kidnapped by kidnappers who wanted nothing o do with her), but a lot of crap seems like it was glossed over in the first chapters.
To begin with, she seems overly pissed at the prince or whatever. Sure, he ignored her, but did she really want to be forcibly escorted to who knows where with a strange man she just met?
And I am concerned that she has not even tried to meet this saint person since the kidnapping. What have they done to this poor child? Where is she being held, hostage? What type of cage are they using to protect this supposed "saint", is it cleaned well and sanitized? She obviously doesn't like the food, but it doesn't seem like they have had Sei prepare a meal for her yet. Did they feed her a recipe that Sei gave to the cook yet? Have they been properly watering her? Is she allowed to shower? Does the king try to take one with her "for her own protection"?
In the beginning, I thought that poor servant/knight boy she tortured said that sometimes 2 are summoned if the situation is really bad and calls for two saints. But it doesn't seem like they even remotely think that's possible. What more, how did they reach the sudden conclusion that the other girl was the saint? Was it just that the king/prince guy was so caught off-guard by the news while he was picking out his dress that he didn't realize 2 were summoned and went to the first strangely dressed girl he saw?
I really feel like I missed something (like 2 pages or 5 chapters that came after ch 1).
