My favorite characters are the nameless background group. They embody the viewers of every adorable romance manga ever.

Male protagonist is either dense as hell or a real sadist. Watching this girl with the dragon tattoo sanpaku eyes struggle through their conversations with beet red cheeks and ears, her not-so-subtle hand gestures, and her dazed, deer-in-headlights expression when he pounces on her with a compliment. I can only assume he's a sadist, as the fan battalion not only enlarged, but are now making loud noises. You'd have to be a harem protagonist to be that dense to miss all of that. And, let's be honest, if we could get reactions like her's, we'd all become sadists.
