I find it strange that she would all of a sudden adore her sister like that and want to follow her path.

Like she said, she barely knew her and it felt like she was a relative but all of a sudden she became a super groupie??
dont forget this girl was spoiled and had as much love as she could ever want, but the thing she needed and didnt get was her sister. Philia was kicked out at 5 and trained for 10 years, and Mia was shown to be 15 already when she debuted, so for pretty much all her life she never got to see her sister.

Then Philia is praised as the ultimate saintess, and when Mia snuck out to see her and almost got killed, coincidentally Philia was the one who saved her. To see the sister you've only heard rumours about and rarely get the chance to even glance at her suddenly save you from a near-death experience would be pretty fascinating, i'd bet.

Mia remarks herself she was a spoiled child, she doesn't know all that Philia went through as their parents kept it hidden from her. She just knows she went through "10 years of training".

I mean, Philia did save her life with holy laser beams, I know that would impress the hell out of me.

Bro Philia saved her from being mauled to death by a monster
If it's not the initial source of her affection to Philia, I don't know what will convince you

She literally prayed for God to save her, and Phillia was the one who answered that call, saving her with great power and humility.

Just as a follower of a religion tries to practice the wisdom that was demonstrated to them, you can't really blame Mia trying to follow her savior's footsteps and become a saintess just as great as her after being saved by such a saintess.

She's gonna stage a complete flip!? Oh my god I'm so in, Mia you're so damn cool. I really hope the first prince is as wise and thoughtful as the king seemed to be, and that they can save the king.

You see these series where a prince murders their family or parents quite a bit in the OI genre (usually BC theyre abusive or a bad ruler) but there's something truly disturbing about the idea that this man was deeply loved and raised thoughtfully by his father (and probably a gaggle of nannies and tutors) and his response to the feelings of "I want to be king asap" is to try to kill his own father in the most slow and painful way possible for simply occupying the seat he wants.

The prince is like.....truly evil to want to do this not only to his own family but to the people. But I suppose what can you expect of a man who gets threatened every single time a woman presents as more talented than him. He's probably the type of person who if became king for real, would stage murders of heroes and decorated generals so he could receive the credit or adoration instead...

Thanks for the tl, always such a joy seeing this series.

I suggest you read again and REAAAALLY pay attention to that part.

Hint: hyphens.
