The Duke is not a bad person. The previous owner of the FL's body was a btch. She kept getting into troubles which litterally brought her family down. I can understand why he was so cold to her. I actually like the dad. A Dad that doesen't sht about his daughter wouldn't know or notice that she pretended to be ill and is acting irregulaly. That just proved that he actually cares about her and checks on what she's doing. Im glad he also stepped up there and protected his family! )
