That's less her "villainous" side and more her "everyone just used me for their own ends so i need to do the same this time" side, don't forget that aria tried to get others to like her in the previous timeline only to get used by them usually, aria still has alot of mental scars that haven't healed and won't until she get's her revenge, if ever.

Asher is the only person aria ends up trusting completely, annie does like the baron but aria's not wrong about her goldigger side playing a part in it, aria's first maid (name escapes me) is the only altruistic one of the 3, if i remember right, she's the only one who didn't betray aria in the og timeline (though on the flipside, aria betrayed her), her greatest crime being falling for mielle's lies, in the end it was aria that hurt her, which is why she's aria's "favorite" maid in this timeline, she knows she won't turn on her if she trusts her.

Annie has it tough for now, but she need that specific view so she can win in the war of affection with Burboom.
He is comparing Annie to Aria so her only value are as Aria's maid to him.
While she has Burboom as possible love target mean she value him a lot more than he value her.
Rationalize his value as looks/wealth/social position give her less expectation and more tactical strategy.
And indeed, in Aria eyes, Annie has more value than Burboom so she are actually protecting the girl from blindly falling in love, and show Annie that she actually has a good position to get Burboom.
Since Burboom want Aria mean he is doomed to fail, why not prepare Annie to catch him when he fall. Win-win for Burboom-Annie here.

uuuhh so i think actually aria actually a kind person?? but since she have lots scar from previous live she didnt realize it and think about as giving and take relationship?? i already wondering this possibility since i saw her interaction with her teacher (forgot the name).
and she's manipulative to annie thats too scary bcs i'll definitely like annie if i'm near her 😫
but… i grasp her words to annie came from her previous live experience. So i think without her knowing she gave annie advice so basicly she still care abt her?? afterall annie one of her closest maid.

What's hilarious about the maid's choice to make only Aria's food with sugar is that they'll never be caught because they were almost certainly told to specially prepare her food with none/less than everyone else in order to give more to the rest of the family. So when they're preparing her food separately to add more sugar to it, it won't be suspicious.
Wow, that's my villainess hahaha, I got quite shocked by this chapter and everyone's reaction. I'm definitely gonna read the novel >u<
Edit: I agree, it's better if Annie stops being infatuated. IMO her feelings are real but she's also a gold-digger so she will have more chances with a serene mind (nothing wrong with that IMO. If she stays as a maid, she'll always have to serve someone without much freedom for herself other than that; however, if she's able to do both (keeping her feelings with her head cool, then it'd be better for her and will give her more chances with the Baron. As Aria said, a relationship just based in looks and attraction won't last long, it's better if Annie tries to connect with him in a different way -ofc since she knows he can't achieve have him just by her looks and that's not wise in the long term neither-).

To Burboom currently, Annie just a maid of the pretty woman he like. Her pretty face will make him want to play around with her, but marriage to a maid is not his top choice.
But if Annie target Burboom as a wealthy handsome social man, she will weight his value against her own. This will improve Annie confidence, as she is Aria Roscent's maid, if Burboom love her, he will gain Aria support and a beautiful girl's love. If he do not, Annie still the proud close maid of Aria, while he get nothing.
This knowledge will help Annie make better decision, and better tactic. Instead of giving Burboom benefit to lure him, she can show him how Aria is out of his league, while having friendly approach and wait for him to drop his expectation, then show Annie own beauty, Annie position, Annie value as link to Aria's power. That will make Burboom want Annie as his wife.
