I was finding everything as simply comical but reading these comments is very sobering. Even if it was meant to be funny the way the older brother acts is actually super wrong! ....Was he that rough with her? The brother, I mean. Wasn't most of that just strict punishment to bad behavior? A bit over the top maybe but I dunno, maybe because before the reincarnation she already did the villainess style evil stuff? and he's a knight, who seems very strict, and at least half of the things he did reminded me of training... and then he sends her to actual training after the great chase

I get that it's really over the top, but I'd hold on on judging the dude as an horrible abuser until more info about him is out in the manga, maybe he just grew up being trained and disciplined like that(he's a knight, military ain't very chill with training usually) and is doing what he learned...

If it's just like that, telling him that what he's doing is going overboard and properly tell him why would most likely solve the situation, unless he's really stubborn, if so then calling him that is proper yeah.

There's also the possibility he sees it as fine because he does that to himself if he messes up, having high standards for oneself he would expect others to be the same and follow the same punishment in case of lack of discipline. And since she's his little sister, he obviously would expect more of her than he would a random person.

Or he may really just be an abusive sadic big bro. Or just a person who likes applying spartan methods of training and discipline.

But regardless of what he actually is, I dunno, jumping to so many conclusions when barely any info about him is known is really premature?!

Tl;dr: Big bro may be bad bro, but maybe wait for info before calling him evil abuser or malevolent?! Ain't it too soon for that, people?!

People already hating on the brother because of the apparent abuse but I don't see anything wrong with the chapter. I mean, sure, abuse is wrong, but from what I saw it seemed more like an overexageratted slap-stick gag than actually straight out child abuse. Like in the same tone from Full Metal Alchemist, where Edward and Alphonse's teacher ofter went berserk as a running gag. This chapter honestly was a great piece of comedy and I doubt it was supposed to be taken seriously.

Maybe, just maybe, her brother tried to be as gentle as possible towards her when she was younger but obviously that would have failed miserably considering her strength then he just kinda amped up the punishments till we get to what we have now.

Like she said, if the game her was ever bullied like that by her brother, she’d likely have not been as villainous as she was portrayed (since she’d be likely wornout and near death all the time) plus I feel that her family all loves her (since they come from a love-filled family) including her brother and him being as strict as he is his is because he understands that she can take it and that she really is stubborn as heck that he needs to be extra strict with her just so she listens.

Now again, this is all just a maybe
