I think the items she asked him to buy are offerings for her past life's family's unmarked graves in the woods or whatever, haven't re-read the novel recently
Ahh I'm crying. Imagining trying to atone for your last life for the last 15 years. Its like time stopped for both of them I hope they can reconcile and move forward with their lives.
Edit: Out of curiosity, does anyone know what chapter this is in the novel?
I don't want them to end up with each other in "this" lifetime. I already read several chapters ahead in the ln and yes, still, their feelings for each other linger but it's not the type you wanted to be true and real in the end.
@MagicalCarcrash you'll want to read from chapter 10 on novel updates. The phrasing is a little different but the meaning is the same as what the manga has.
Prepare a lot of tissues and water if you plan on reading the rest of the ln. I already found these last few chapters of the manga rough.
A straighforward series like this are kinda rare now. No useless prolonging chapter that instead ruin the story and character value. And her face when she call him "Helt" again. I give it 10/10
