Never understood the concept of these types of MCs. Spineless and massive cowards yet somehow have chicks throwing themselves at them.

The fan has some massive parasocial issues with him. He's also a massive pussy and the other girl, well she's as normal as normal goes in this manga.

The use case is at least different in the manga vs most rom coms. Typically it’s used to allow harem shenanigans and comedic misunderstandings. Here’s it’s because the character is supposed to be making things worse and worse for himself, we aren’t supposed to identify with him, he’s a tragic hero who is supposed to suffer for his failures.

Normal indecisive rom-com protag: Ends up with a bunch of girls who love him

This dude: probably gonna end up stabbed and it’s his own damn fault

I honestly don't understand why people hate Azusa san
Like she didn't even do anything that's like Yandere (Yeah, her eyes may look like that, but... did she do anything till now?)
She just teases the MC, and there are many girls like that
What? She also knows Amatella has a crush on mc and still doesn't hurt her, and have a mature convo with her

I swear the only person who can be unlikable is the MC, cause like he is like abusing their 'love' for him, and acting as the victim here

Also isn't Amatella more Yandere-ish here? (I don't hate her just stating the point)
Stalking the mc, possessiveness, even though there is no relationship with him

I would 100% choose her and just have a good peaceful rest of my life. Butttt I know the story won’t go that smooth
Have fun being her sole emotional support while she piles years of her own trauma on you until you’re either crushed by it’s weight as you become Unhealthy codependent or she eventually gets better and moves on without after realizing how much she’s missed out on life.

this lol. emotional vampires look appealing because it doesn't seem that bad, until you end up shouldering the entirety of their mental health by yourself
