A normal introverted kid who's in an unhealthy state of mind. A lot of emotional baggage, a fucked up perception of reality, but they can be "fixed".

I've dealt with girls like that. Helped one of them get back in the right headspace, even dated her for a while a couple of years later.
There's nothing wrong with them, shit's just a symptom of a low self-confidence and a lack of an emotional support network. They just need to be shown care that involves building them up rather than just indulging them.

First of all, are you using real world standards or Anime/Manga world standards?, that the crucial part, because if you do using real world standards to measure something in manga, then I assure you man, Nothing make senses and everyone is a fucking weirdo.
