Having stalkers, I thought having a stalker or two was very much common until the very late of my adolescence, which wasn't long ago. Had to get a first hand experience to realize it.

People having degrees and continuing school after high school, in my country (France, which imply a very low cost for tertiary education compared to other countries, unless you want a "good" enginnering or buisness school). In my mind, it was the thing to do and only a small part of the population were quitting after high school, something like 5-10%. The truth is closer to 50% of people having tertiary education.
