I heard the author of Tokyo Ghoul made a manga, "This Gorilla Will Die In 1 Day" that was supposed to be a reference to this manga, and that's how I came here...to read to this manga.
looking back at this with the context of right in the middle of the lockdown periods, i feel like this story has tremendously affected my mental and emotional development, for better or worse.
who knows? onto yet another many years of growth.
This manga was one of the first mangas that I started reading on this site 5 years ago.
Back then, I didn't even make an account yet.
I don't think I started it right as chapter 1 came out, but I still think it was somewhere near the beginning. It was cool waiting for new chapters and wondering with others if the Crocodile would die and how it would die.
An incredible experience.
I had my doubts at first but with each chapter the tension and horror kept building up.
It's actually a quite simple 4-koma slice of life about the daily ordinary life of a guy croc, with stuff him and his friends experience.
The art can get a bit off-looking sometimes but I think the emotions you might feel from this can make up for it.
And it comes with a few life lessons I guess.
Yeah he does die in the end. Sad.
Reading the comments can enhance the experience but those for the earlier (first 10) chapters have spoilers.
