I wanted this situation to unfold, surprisingly this time I have read this chapter and it made little impact on me... Though, I payed attention to the details, I loved it how they finally got to talk. Others are somehow speaking of how annoying Hinako gets but I agree with those who talk about realistic side of the story. Just love itself isn't enough to heal the person, well, time and patience are needed too I mean! Expecting from a severely traumatised person to suddenly grasp everything is invalidating. Hinako was able to change a bit in the first place because Shiori was able to catch her attention. If it were the other people, it would have not been so meaningful... Shiori motivated Hinako by offering her what she needs- in whatever form it looks. Thats the only thing that could move her, and there is a way for her to be saved. She just needs time. Miko and Shiori already have been showing a tremendous amount of patience and understanding. That's why even before Shiori appeared, Hinako had still been alive. I'm sure that step by step she will be dragged to the normal side again. It would be long and demanding, but for those who treasure Hinako - they feel responsible for her well-being, as her little community or family. And I have liked that friendly devotion ever since i began reading it
