@SuperDumpling : She specifies for him to inform the king, implying he has not made a decree yet. The king would likely make such a decree in person, not have it delivered in the middle of a ball.
@Mangareader and @sjmcc13
They aren't being disinherited, they are running away and seeking protection by the church, by going to the possible middle of nowhere and asking the monastery to confine them basically making them dissapear.
Let's assume that the church has power akin to the Catholic church in the middle ages, then the sisters are gone, no one can touch them, not even the king, there is no one that can harm them in any way, and taking into account that the little sister basically made enemies of a lot of nobility is better for both of them to live life in poverty and peace than what could possibly happen to them.
This should have been the first chapter instead of that disappointing last one. It's so refreshing because it twist the usual isekai otome cliches and it makes so much better. It's just one chapter but It's so different from the usual isekai that I would love to read more.
I like that Dahlia stood up for Lilian, but this was cut short! That's the problem with some of the one-shots, though 😅
Anyway, this chapter was most definitely better than the last.
okay i LOVED this one!!! much better, now this is what i like/wanted!! best sister 😍what a fantastic ending lmao and she told them all to go to hell, basically hahahaha it was just too good. much MUCH better than that awful first chapter~
