For those who liked the general structure of this chapter, I felt that the best things of this particular story were copied from "The villainess wants to slim down her husband", which sadly never got a manga. But even the illustrations from the novel are cute.

We're at volume 10 of an anthology with a fairly basic premise. All the straightforward stories have likely been spun, so at this point we're either going to get repetition or contrived novelty unless they find a genius who has a completely new archetype for the genre.

Alas, I can't remember if any of the ones left in this anthology are memorable, but some other anthologies definitely have their good ones.

Blegh, can't remember if "The Poison Princess Strikes Back" is in one of them, because that one's a banger.

Like, it's enough EMOTIONAL DAMAGE to the shitty Prince to hear her ex fiancee shit-talk him mercilessly in front of everyone, but for the "heroine" to do the same thing (starting with a "I know, rite? Ugh, he's scum"), and for them to do a double takedown? I almost felt pity for the poor sod.

reminds me a bit of "Villainess Wants Her Husband To Slim Down" but that one is better, but it also is a proper full story :p I do like this one though

Sadly, It never got a proper manga release, just the novel. The novel is pretty good and the illustrations are quite cute.

This was a decent one. The ending didn't land, but I'll definitely take that over an evenly-paced story that doesn't set things up the way this one did. This one actually feels like it could be expanded into a decent story. Like maybe a whole plotline where the supportive fanclub discuss expelling him just so he can romance her.

Their early dynamic made me laugh quite a lot, but it sounds like a lot of folks don't like it mainly for the weird idol-mentality that's mainly in Japanese culture. It's also a bit iffy for me, but knowing the context makes their interactions funny because it's a non-toxic idol fan being an extremely diligent otaku while she naturally has no fucking idea what any of that means.

Though I think the way to make it a peak story is to cut out the romance aspect. Fully make her aroace and lean heavily on it for her delight in living in a monastery. Then, rather than making her marry him, have her either get taken in as a maid in his house or become a nun specifically in his territory.

Nahhhhh. Too short. Who's the captain? Why only now he was exile? Can't he resign himself? Also, just cutting sugar is not healthy. It's not a proper/healthy way to lose weight. I guess his exercise is just horse riding? There's no explanation on why she's disgusted by men. In short, it's too short.
The explanation was briefly mentioned in one of the panels after he declared he'll never love her. Men ogle her with perverted eyes and try to touch her without her consent.

I liked this one. The story clearly isn't meant to be taken seriously. It was also pretty interesting because the girl knew how to take advantage of her good looks and manipulate others. She wasn't blind to everything despite everyone fawning over her.

I like the concept but I feel like there's a thread untugged here like "and he's actually a reincarnated person" or something.

Ah, well. It's nice enough

This one's above average I guess. It's not mid, but not peak either. It's standard dense protagonist stuff.
it was good until the last part, like the fan club rule was so dumb, he was nervous not because of the club

Imo it deserves both a manga and an anime adaption. Think there'd be enough for one full season (might even be a bit short season) and that'd be great.
